Malaria Must Die

Power of the Voice

Charity Film

Malaria Must Die: Power of the Voice launched the world’s first voice petition — asking people to record a spoken message instead of signing their name, turning public support into something you can literally hear.

The launch film became an early, high-profile example of AI used for social good: David Beckham appears to speak nine languages, created using AI video synthesis technology developed by Synthesia.

The creative idea is simple and direct: voices drive change — and by gathering thousands of them, the campaign aimed to pressure leaders ahead of major global health funding decisions (including the The Global Fund), even transforming submissions into a “sound sculpture” to be delivered to decision-makers.
